I just reviewed the Naked Smoky palette by Urban Decay. This new Naked Smoky palette has a nice range of cooler toned shades. When compared to the other Naked palettes it’s closer in color tone to the Naked 2 which also leans towards cool tones. Cool tone shades are my favorite kind but that’s just personal preference and it also depends on skin tone.
The Naked 1 or the Original Naked palette is more of a warm toned palette and a cult classic now. The Naked 3 palette is all about rose tones, and rose golds a popular color indeed but one that can be a little more difficult to pull off as any rose or leaning on red tones can tend to make the eye look a bit tired.

The colors from left to right as described by Urban Decay :
High is described as a “champagne shimmer with micro-glitter”.
Dirtysweet is described as a “medium bronze.”
Radar is described as a “metallic taupe with iridescent micro-glitter”.
Armor is described as a “metallic silver-taupe with tonal sparkle.”
Slanted is described as a “light metallic gray.”
Dagger is described as a “medium charcoal with micro-shimmer.”
Black Market is described as a “jet black satin.”
Smolder is described as a “deep plum-taupe.”
Password is described as a “cool taupe matte.”
Whiskey is described as a “rich brown matte.”
Combust is described as a “soft pink-taupe.”
Thirteen is described as a “light beige satin.”
Finally let’s talk about the packaging. I know I am a sucker for packaging and have been known on a couple occasions to actually purchase an item just because of it’s gorg packaging! I shouldn’t admit to it, but hey being real here. So the Naked Smoky has great packaging in my opinion as it is a durable, light-weight plastic case with a magnetic closure (something I dig). It’s very practical to travel with as it is sleek and has a very large very usable mirror. But the best perk for me is the translucent quality of the design on the palette giving it … you guessed it, a smokey effect!
Before Naked Smoky came out, my favorite was Naked 2.
So which one is your favorite Naked Palette ?

You should do a tutorial using your smokey pallet. I have the Naked 2 pallet but I haven’t used it in a while

Oh thanks I’ll work on a post for that. I have the Naked 2 and I love it. It’s the Naked 3 I don’t use very often.
