New Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette

The new Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette is out !

IS IT WORTH GETTING?

I love Urban Decay as a brand especially for their eye-shadows and their amazing payoff. The formula was revamped a couple years back and they are buttery smooth and opaque even without a base. These shadows are no exception and this palette has a lot going for it. It includes matte eye-shadows which are a must for me if you want to able to use a single palette for a complete eye look. The glitter factor is ever present as this is an Urban Decay product but it is very manageable and if you tap your brush off for any excess you won’t have too much fall out.

There are dark and smokey shades of course to create the perfect smokey eye, but there are good variety and neutrals and mid tone shades that tie in nicely with the “naked” theme. So there is a little bit of everything for everyone. If you like natural looking make-up it’s easy to create with the lighter shades, the deeper ones used as liner or to darken the outer vee. If you want a dramatic look this is the palette for you as well.

Now do you really need it in your collection? If you don’t have any of the Naked palettes it’s a no-brainer : go get it girl! However if you already have one or two of the palettes it’s not necessary. How ever is buying an extra palette ever really necessary? I have all their previous editions but that didn’t stop me from rushing to get it. I’m a true make-up junkie and proud of it.IMG_7115

So what do you think? Is it a must-have item for this fall?
