Hey Guys !
Hope you had a great Independence Day weekend celebration! Summer is finally here in Paris after months of rain and dreary weather, so I couldn’t be more excited. Here are my favorite products for the month of June.
Lancôme Juicy Shaker in 283 Berry in Love
I love Lancôme lip products and their Juciy Tube escpecially, which I featured in my Top Ten Lip Balms post. It’s a very hydrating gloss that gives you a perfect wash of color. So when YouTube Guru Lisa Eldridge who has since become Creative Director for Lancôme make-up came out with an update version I just had to get my hands on them!
My favorite shade is 283 Berry Tale. Some might find them on the sheer side, which they are meant to be, but I find this gives a nice pop of color. The gloss is oil infused so it’s perfect for dry lips. I just love how innovative the applicator is : it’s a cushion dome shaped applicator that provides a decadent experience when applying your lip gloss. You’ve just got to feel it for yourself. The packaging is quite cute too mimicking a cocktail shaker. As it’s a bi-phase product, you need to shake it to get the pigment and oil to mix. I find it quite fun to use.

Benefit Box ‘o Powder Blush in Rockateur
If you’ve read my May Favorites, you know I’m on a Benefit kick right now. I loved the blushes that cam in the travel sets I purchased so I went out and got the full sized blush in Rockateur. I knew I’d like it but not that I’d fall head over heals. I usually don’t like blushes with too much shimmer but this dusty mauve pink just blew me away. I’ve been obsessed and wearing it every day this month! That’s saying something because I like to switch it up normally.
It also smells really good! The only thing I like a little less is the packaging, while pretty I find it a little bulky and would prefer something sleeker. It comes with a small brush that can work in a pinch if you take it with on a trip (but I wouldn’t as it’s not compact) so I don’t tend to use the brush.

Real Techniques Stippling Brush
Real Techniques brush by YouTube Gurus Sam and Nick Chapman aka Pixiwoo are some of my favorite brushes on the market. I feel they provide the best bang for your buck. While I love MAC brushes too, the face brushes tend to have quite a hefty price tag.
I recently picked this Stippling Brush up at Monoprix which is a higher end drugstore if such a thing exists (haha!) in France. I’m super glad they are sold in France because before that I had to go to London or the USA or order on Amazon. As you’ve read above I love blush and this brush works great for both cream and powder blushes. I also use it for highlighter. It’s really a multi task brush like most of Real Techniques line. It can aslo work great for foundation if you want a lighter finish or are applying a BB cream.
No 7 Lip Treats : High Shine Lip Crayon
I got these for Xmas in a set and featured them in my Xmas Gift Guide for Her post. I find this lip crayons similar to the Clinique Chubby Sticks and very easy to use. I can apply them on the go and not worry about my lips.

Biotherm Self Tanning Face Gel
French pharmacy skin care is one of the best in the world, in my humble opinion. I really need to do a post on this topic and share my special gems with you. Since the sun did not want to cooperate this June, but I was feeling the summer vibe after my wonderful trip to Japan in May, I decided my skin needed a little pick me up in the tanning department. Who wants to be pastely white in the summer time?
I love Biotherm products and this one is no exception. It provides a natural looking gradual tan, which is what you want with a self tanner. No Oompa Loompa tan in sight with this bad boy. It gives a radiant look to your skin and 12 hour moisturization. It works quite well under foundation and almost acts like a primer.
What are your June monthly favorites ?

Wow! Lip oil is having a great moment lately and the juicy shaker is the perfect way to bring oil infused lip gloss to your lips and as you’ve said, juicy shaker is just fun to wear it on as it comes as a cocktail shaker. What a cool idea! Hats off to lovely Lisa Eldridge and of course, she is a genius when it comes to makeup
