A Little NYC Shoe Haul

IMG_0669

A girl can never have too many shoes right ? While in NYC (check my post here), I indulged in the most loved city sport/occupation : shopping !

Macy’s

The first place I went was the Shopping Mecca otherwise known as  : Macy’s. I love department stores. They have a festive feel to them. We went to what used to be the largest department store in the world.

I love Coach, and own a bag from them, check out the post I on it. So while looking through the sale section, when I spotted these beauties I was sucked in!

Here are the Coach Adella Booties. They are extremely comfortable and I’ve been wearing them almost every day since I got them. I love the classic feel of the closed toed bootie with the bit of edge the chain detail brings.

They have a side zip closure and are made with super soft and supple leather. The stack heel is 1 and 1/4 inch and perfect for city walking. The shaft is 6 and 1/2 inches. I wear these with pants or skirts. These were on sale at $98 instead of $275!

Sadly Macy’s doesn’t carry Tory Burch, so I left without finding the ballet flats I was after.

Tory Burch

I didn’t have to worry too long before I found what I was looking for that very afternoon. The Tory Burch Boutique is in the Meatpacking district. I actually got off the High Rise I was walking down with some friends when I spotted the Tory Burch Logo (see post here) ! You know I love this brand if you’ve ready my post about the perfect work handbag, which happens to be in my opinion the Tory Burch York Buckle Tote.

The Caroline Ballet Flat

I’ve been wanting a pair for quite some time now especially for their comfortable reputation. Paris is a walking city, most of the day to day like getting to work or running errands is done by foot. I was looking for a comfy yet classy shoe and this is the perfect fit !

These flats are  made in glossy black patent leather with an elasticized trim and a signature gold logo at the toe. I stay away from patent leather as  it usually makes it stiff and tends to give my tender feet blisters. But this slipper-like staples are a must : I love them they are so comfy! I would recommend taking a half a size up. For some reason they are a smaller fit than the wedge version of the Caroline Wedge which I also own. They retail for $225.

What are your favorite shoes brands and shoe styles ?
