And Now let’s jump into my favorites for the month of August :

Tangle Teezer :

I bought the travel sized one because as you know I love TRAVEL! It fits just fine in any Beach/Pool bag you may be using or your current summer bag (mine is the Kate Spade Small Cobble Hill Toddy) and of course it fits just perfectly in your ttote workbags.

I love this brush as most plastic brushes just break my hair or pull on it. My usual hairbrush is a boarbristle one. This brush is great for gently detangling your hair on the go or in your house. It also smooths and adds shine. If you haven’t already go ahead and try it!

Now I will say if you have very coarse, thick and curly hair you might find this a little too light weight for you! But don’t worry Tangle Teezer has you covered and you can purchase the Thick & Curly detangling brush. I haven’t tried that one as I have find hair but it’s worth a mention.

Kerastase Densifique – Sérum Jeunesse

At the end of summer, your hair might be looking a little frazzled what with all the sea salt, chlorine and sun damage. If you need a  little TLC and added volume this Kerastase hair spray is the perfect luxury treatment you need. I went to visit my sister and she took me to her hair stylist who recommended this to me and it really does work.

It’s part of their Densifique range which focuses and on replenishing fine hair. This is a serum for your hair. The concept just spoke to me as I love serums and need to post about my favorites for my skincare.

Despite the hefty price tag, I totally think it’s worth the splurge. And it even smells really good too!

NYX soft matte lip cream

One of the highlights of the month of August (aside from vacation) is when a good friend of mine from Chicago came to visit. We had a blast doing some luxury shopping in Paris together, and I definitely need to post about it. She gifted me with a NYX soft matte lip cream in Istanbul. I really love it!  A matte lip is so on trend right now. But I have a hard time finding one that doesn’t dry out my lips (if you’ve read my Top Ten lip balms post, you know I have really sensitive lips). This matte lip cream is very comfortable to wear. I do wear lip balm underneath but that’s just me:).

BTW for those of you living in France; there is some awesome news if you haven’t already heard : NYX will be opening it’s first physical store at the Quatre Temps Mall in La Defense Paris on September 16th 20116 ! So happy ! I had to stock up on NYX products every time I traveled to the US (check out my NYC drugstore haul). I’ll be sure to check out that store, so let me know if you want a post about it.

Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezer

Finding a really good pair of tweezer’s is not that easy. You want them nice and sharp to be able to pick even the smallest hairs, but if they are too sharp you might end up cutting the hair instead of pulling it out! haha!

My favorite hands down is the Tweezerman’s brand. They are truly finely sharpened and work wonders. I again purchased mine in the travel size no need to explain why. I always have them in my purse you just never know. I use them to apply my false lashes that’s a very nifty tool if you don’t want to go out and purchase an eyelash applier. In France you can mainly find them at Sephora.

Marc Jacobs The Nude(ist) collection

Genius of Gel Eye, Lip and pochette collection.

You get one Petite New Nudes Sheer Lip Gel in Role Play (110). This is a great nude that won’t wash you out and have you looking dead.

And a Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Blacquer 42. I love the Highliner formula as it’s very creamy and will not tug on your eyes, something I can’t stand when  pencil liner does that. There is a con though to them, maybe because they are so creamy they dry out quite fast.

You get an SLG with this kit and if you’ve read my SLG posts Louis Vuitton Key Pouch or the Louis Vuitton Caissa Cardholder, you know SLGs are a weak spot for me! This cute pochette and mirror in a nice nude colored leather is just too cute.
