Mothers Day is just around the corner, so it’s the perfect time to start looking for that special gift for all the special women in our lives, starting with our Mom’s but also all the women who’ve mattered along the way such as Grandmothers, Aunts and our Mother in Laws! I think Moms are the true super heroes in this day and age : juggling work, kids, the house, the husband while still looking good! haha!

So you don’t want to offer the default boring gift : flowers ?

Need a little inspiration ? Here are 10 great Mother’s Day gift ideas, for every budget, for the different types of Moms out there.

A timeless Mother’s Day gift will always be a fragrance to me. If you already know your Mom’s favorite scent, then of course go out and purchase it. If not, you can’t go wrong with the classic Chanel n°5 that’s been a top seller ever since it was first created back in 1920’s. It’s the ultimate femininity that lets you feel both chic and seductive.

3. The Beauty Lover : Bobbi Brown Neutral eye palette

Ever since the Naked palettes from Urban Decay have come out, the neutral eye shadow trend has been all the rage (you can check out my reviews here). If you’ve read my 3 Day Quote Challenge on Travel , then you know I love reading but you might not know I got my love of books from my Mom. She always has  a book with her wherever she goes, but is always complaining about lugging around the extra weight. At $62,50 or 28.95€ this salon favorite will help you achieve the perfect hair style while repairing and soothing damaged and brittle hair.

9. The time focused Mom : Michael Kors watch : Jet Set Tortoise Shell Ladies Watch

What Mom doesn’t need to keep track of the one thing we are all running after : time! This chic and sophisticated watch will help her do this in style. The Tortoise shell wrist band makes it very light weight and comfortable to wear. I love how the gold pops against the brown mother of pearl dial. Swarovski crystals index the hours and add a little bling. What Mom doesn’t like a little bling ? If you think your Mom won’t like the Totoise shell style there are many MK watches to choose from. It retails for $225 but you can get great deals on Amazon and elsewhere for half the price! Here’s an example of how I would style mine :

10. The home body Mom : Scented candle

If you’ve been to Paris or read my In Paris for the Holidays post, then you know one of the places I recommended was the Ladurée tea parlor on the Champs Elysées. If your Mom is into home decor, than a sweetly macaroon scented Ladurée Candle in baby blue is just the right touch of whimsical and nostalgic. I you manage to bring her a couple macaroons along with it, I don’t think it would be amiss!
