When you’re constantly on the go, and you love traveling having the perfect wallet comes in very handy! My current favorite is the Michael Kors Jet Set Zip-around Continental Travel Wallet.

Exterior :

I chose the vanilla color because I find it pretty and classy but also because in a dark purse it’s a lot easier to spot than a wallet in a darker color. I admit I was worried about the light color and how it would maintain over time. I’ve only had black wallets in the past. But after some research I was convinced this wouldn’t be an issue because the material is PVC. Now that I’ve had it for almost a year I can confirm that it holds up really well, and it’s stain resistant. Don’t sweat if you spill coffee on it! The print is the signature tone-on-tone Michael Kors logo. It also has the signature gold tone hardware plaque on the front. Mine has a scratch on it. As I said I’m not too careful with this wallet.

The zip around makes it very travel friendly as you wallet won’t accidentally pop open and spill its contents. It also keeps it nice and streamlined so it doesn’t get too bulky. I’ve had issues with classic wallet styles where the leather would come apart at the seams because I was stuffing too much stuff in them. The actual zipper glides really smoothly with no snags whatsoever. The ziper tab has Michael Kors engraved on it.

Interior :

The interior is fully lined and has two interior slip pockets and eight interior card slots. This gives you a lot of room for a decent amount of credit cards and rewards cards. The card slots  have enough give that you can slip in at least two cards in each slot. I use the slip pockets for cash and receipts. It has a central zip pocket that I use for change. I haven’t yet noticed any staining or darkening of the light lining from the coins. The central zip pockets creates an open pocket on each side where you can store even more items.

Functional :

The dimensions are 8.25 X 4 X .75″. This wallet is the perfect size. Not too small so it fits all your essentials as well as extra items but not too large that it won’t fit comfortably in a clutch or small bag. You can even fit your iphone 6 comfortably with or without the case in the open pockets. My case isn’t the slimmest one out there as it’s the Spigen Air Cushion Slim Armor Case 4.7″.

It’s multitasking as you can even use it as a clutch! This option works particularly well if you’re travelling but didn’t want to bring an evening purse on top of you regular travel handbag. You can also fit your favorite lip-gloss (mine is Beige by NYX), once the phone is in. But keys won’t probably fit unless you ditch the phone or you just bring your house key. But hey if you’re travelling you only need to bring a hotel key which is usually a magnetic card!

It retails for 138$ on the Michael Kors web site. Or you can get it for 186 euros on Amazon.fr. I definitely recommend this wallet that holds up quite well, all the while looking very chic !

Now just a quick disclaimer, I’m obviously not recommending this wallet for an extreme backpacking expedition around the globe, but more for business or leisure trips.
